Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join our IT team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users, and learning in a fast-paced construction environment. You’ll provide frontline support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues across our office and field operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for Windows 11 laptops, desktops and Apple iPads used by office staff and field teams.
Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, printers, and iOS mobile devices.
Perform basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi issues at job trailers and VPN access for remote users.
Support mobile device management (MDM) and deployment of company-issued tablets.
Log and manage incidents and service requests using the IT ticketing system.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including provisioning of user accounts and equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures and asset inventory.
Occasionally travel to local job sites to provide hands-on support.

Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Basic knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Strong communication and customer service skills, especially when supporting non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a project-driven environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow).
Exposure to Active Directory and user account management.
Experience supporting users in construction or field-based environments is a plus.
Experience with Autodesk Design and Project management tools is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Desk work with some lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Office and warehouse environment with some opportunities to visit jobsites.
