We are currently seeking a **Senior Business Development Manager** to be part of our Industrial Automation team to be based in our **Perth, WA** Office. The role act as the primary customer interface, responsible for developing business relationships and managing partnerships with new customers, EPCs, and potential partners of Honeywell.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Lead initiatives to promote Honeywell’s solutions, demand generation sales activities to drive “new” business growth

+ Calling at all levels, including senior levels of target customer organizations (new logos)

+ Provide technical knowledge on major markets including Oil & Gas, New Energy and Mining while also leveraging knowledge of Infrastructure

+ Drive specific initiatives related to Energy Storage Systems, Emissions Monitoring, Cybersecurity, Remote Operating Centres, and the full IA portfolio

+ Identifies new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building value propositions

+ Focal point of relationship strategies, account, and sales plans

+ Accurate forecast of new orders and growth opportunities

**Key Capabilities and Qualifications:**

+ University degree level or equivalent

+ Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Industrial Automation, preferably with Oil & Gas, New Energy and Mining

+ Knowledge and experience in solution sales - selling BESS, DCS, SCADA, PLC, and SIS

+ Experienced in the use of CRM tools, Account Planning tools, Strategic Selling methodologies and Target Account Selling

+ Proven track record of success in industry/ business environment

+ Experienced in complex sales, including early engagement in the customer buying cycle at senior levels

+ building long-term strategic and executive relationships, team selling and opportunity planning

+ Ability to do frequent travel

+ Holds full Australian driver’s license
