As an **Inside Sales professional** you will support our Building Management Systems (BMS) business. In this role, you’ll provide technical and sales support to channel partners, distributors, and the sales team—focusing on commercial HVAC controls and energy management solutions. You’ll assist with product application and selection, maintain technical resources, and support marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing enquiries, preparing proposals, and driving product information accuracy to support revenue growth across assigned product ranges.
**KEY AREAS OF REPONSIBILITY**
+ Handle technical sales enquiries received from Honeywell’s BMS customers on a daily basis.
+ Assist sales team with opportunity development, proposal & quotation creation & provision.
+ Support external customers and sales team with product application & selection.
+ Manage technical information resources and access.
+ Develop & maintain product selection tools.
+ Develop & maintain technical sales presentations & resources.
+ Develop & distribute technical product bulletins, tech tips & FAQs
+ Support sales team in customer meetings with technical content / presentations / demonstrations / site visits throughout the sales cycle.
+ Conduct targeted customer technical training sessions.
+ Manage technical sales support process.
+ Liaise with international technical support & product management teams.
+ Assist with marketing activities including provision of market data; product introductions, pricing and promotional activities such as trade shows, conferences, website content, etc
+ Work with Customer Care team on product verification & warranty.
**QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE**
+ Tertiary qualifications in electrical, mechatronic or controls engineering related to HVAC controls.
+ Trained in engineering Building Automation Systems & HVAC Controls
+ Customer Service / Sales training
+ At least 3 years’ experience in technical sales support of Building Automation Systems / HVAC controls
+ Thorough understanding of HVAC applications and components that comprise commercial building control systems
**Preferred Professional Skills / Knowledge**
+ IoT / software (related to connected automation systems)
+ Technical writing
+ Technical Training / Presentations
+ Experience in IoT relating to building automation
+ Time management skills
+ Strong Communication: Verbal & written
+ Advanced computer skills
+ Customer Service focus
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Good interpersonal skills
