As part of the Eastern European sales management team, the individual appointed to this position will be responsible for sales leadership and the development of a stable, talented, successful and motivated channel sales team
The role will require the maintenance of existing accounts and a targeted and driven focus of new customer acquisition across the territory. The role will involve travel, evenings away from home and carry ambitious sales targets and quarterly objectives.
This position will suit a focused and strong sales leader who can prove a successful sales background managing people and customers, who have a mix cultures and locations, within the auto ID or supply chain solutions industries.
You will report to our Territory Director. The role will involve travel (approx. 70%), carry sales targets and quarterly objectives.
**YOUR ROLE**
+ Manage and develop the sales team across EEM
+ Responsible for sales (and margin) for the region
+ Develop regional sales plans whilst increasing the market share
+ Leading by example, foster a team environment based on sound business judgment, problem solving and leadership
+ Prepare personal development plans and reviews for staff ensuring that local HR laws are adhered to, always
+ Ensuring achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets and management-based objectives that will be communicated from time to time
+ Provide accurate and timely forecasts
+ Drive a team to keep the CRM (SFDC) system up to date with all sales related activities
+ Understand matrix and functional management and work with team members and peers to drive a common goal
+ Embrace and deliver change to the business in a positive, understanding and forward-thinking manner if even, on occasion, you personally may not fully agree with the changes
+ Be involved as an integral part of the sales team and be a closer of major opportunities
+ Ensure visibility on field by establishing long term business relationships with major business partners and participating in the major sales opportunities.
**YOUR PROFILE**
+ Strong sales management skills including thorough knowledge of the sales process and strategic techniques to achieve objectives
+ Experience in managing multicultural sales team for both direct and indirect models
+ Ability to make the best of time and resources
+ High level of communication and presentation skills
+ IT literate
+ Understanding and articulate basic business finance terms and the necessity for financial control
+ Ability to prepare a business plan that includes financials, marketing and staffing justifications
+ A sound understanding of business, HR and contractual laws for the region
+ Competent author of business letters and reports
+ Ability to say “no” when the circumstance demands
