This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026. Candidates who are placed in this role understand and agree that they will convey to SAM when the separation occurs.

**Job description:**

Build up lab capability and lead the thermal management material and application evaluation, set up and perform thermal measurements using direct and indirect methods.

Participates in research and development activities to understand customer specification, design, theory and verification process.

Guide the TIM product design on formulation and process optimization, lead the technical engagement with customers to build the correlation between device testing and material testing and facilitate the product iteration.

Problem solving and root cause identification for customer on material and application analysis.

Collect information of competitors, end users and industries, monitor competitors’ activities and make analysis/proposals for counteraction.

Work with global / local commercial and technical team on opportunity pipeline development and support activities

Qualifications:

Master degree or above in electronics materials, engineering thermophysics, electronics, polymer, materials, chemical, or related.

Minimum 5 years of solid experience in electronics industry, and 3 years on thermal design, thermal analysis or thermal management material evaluation.

Strong theoretical background in thermal management and heat transfer. Familiar with thermal management materials on their properties, specifications, and testing methods.

Ability to perform thermal measurements using direct and indirect methods. Experienced in thermal simulation software would be a real asset but it is not mandatory to perform the work

Open mind and quick learning. Innovative in problem solving and root cause analysis.

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Fluent oral English as a working language
