The Pacific HSE Systems Manager will provide subject matter expertise in HSE Systems, Strategy, and Innovation to the Honeywell Building Automation Business across the Pacific
The Manager will be responsible for leading the continuous improvement of all HSE aspects of Honeywell BA activities, driving the implementation of systems improvement and workplace HSE innovation across Honeywell programs of work.
The role will primarily focus on overseeing the development, implementation, and management of best practice HSE management systems, leading idea conception, research, development, and delivery of initiatives and business improvements. Furthermore, the role will involve effectively engaging with and establishing key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across Honeywell to drive change and improve systems processes.
Reporting to the Pacific HSE Director, the role will assist Operational Managers and Leaders in delivering the HSE Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and drive the company's systems improvement and safety culture across the Pacific.
**KEY AREAS OF REPONSIBILITY**
+ Promote workplace HSE systems and innovation across Honeywell, from idea conception, research development and delivery
+ Develop new improvement on existing technical solutions to support the Pacific HSE Director coordinate continual improvement of the management systems increasing HSEMS knowledge, implementation, and compliance
+ Lead the design, implementation, and management of a strategy for Pacific HSE systems and innovation.
+ Lead the implementation of BA Pacific HSE initiatives and programs of work, including local implementation of Honeywell Global initiatives
+ Oversee the ongoing development, implementation, and management of an innovative HSE management system, including the appropriate auditing processes via digital based tools HSE management plans, processes, and practices.
+ Update of procedures and processes to meet legal requirements, ASNZ Standards and relevant Codes of Practice
+ Training and knowledge transfer on new systems inclusive of management of change,
+ Honeywell maturity and Office and Low Risk Site requirements
+ Completion of Pacific Compliance Obligations, Global Task Assignment and Verifications.
+ Lead the strategic development of contemporary risk management initiatives including safety analysis and trend monitoring capabilities to identify key risks to operational teams
+ Document Management of Pacific HSE Procedures, records and templates
+ Use existing Honeywell data and develop innovative statistical analysis tools to present and provide insight to senior leaderships
+ Monitor dashboards and key annual operating data trends assisting the teams to deliver targets
+ Work with the Global HSE team to design and develop relevant continuous (self service) dashboards and reports the presentation of monthly performance.
+ Lead and advise the business in HSE certifications including, ISO45001, ISO 14001, OFSC, Honeywell Field and OLRS Audits.
+ Facilitate the development and deployment of the strategic plan (STRAP) & the annual operating plan (AOP) for HSE performance across the region, including use of tools such as the X-Matrix, A3 plans & lean principles.
**QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE**

+ High level of coordination experience and working within complex environments is preferred, with excellent communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team essential.
+ Travel 15-30%
+ External/ Internal auditor qualification preferred
+ ICAM (or equivalent root cause methodology) Lead Investigator
+ Criminal history Clearance (with ability to obtain related clearance and access to high security location such as Military and Prison sites)
+ BSc / MSc or other equivalent degree in HSE/ Engineering preferred
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in driving and deploying HSE Management systems in a construction or maintenance environment.
+ Must be proficient in building and maintaining Power BI Dashboards and system integration.
+ Experience in using and maintaining Safety Management Systems
**Professional Skills / Knowledge**
+ Must hold knowledge and understanding of AU and NZ legislation, Codes of Practice and AU/NZ and International Standard, Experience with Internal and External Certifications.
+ Lead auditor qualifications – Internal minimum
+ Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
+ Experience working with service, process, facilities maintenance, or construction industries desired.
+ Excellent proficiency in general computer software use – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Power BI, Safety Management Systems including Intelex, iAuditor, SharePoint, Power Apps, Sine
