Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the role of a Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist with experiences in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing.

The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Land Maritime and Sensor (LMS) team within the Mission Systems Sector, which is engaged throughout all aspects of the core technologies used within our major systems. This position is onsite in Elkridge, MD.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Having strong problem-solving skills, leading to innovative solutions.

+ Analytical, detailed-oriented and experienced in establishing strategic solutions.

+ Issues purchase orders.

+ Responsible for subcontract sourcing, proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, administration and closeout phases.

+ Manages supplier performance throughout the subcontracting lifecycle.

+ Ensures compliance with FAR, DFARS and public law requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.

+ Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.

+ Cultivates and maintains strong working relationships with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.

+ Contributes to Program Risk and Opportunity management.

+ Self-Starter with a bias toward action and problem solving.

+ Strong written and verbal communicator

+ The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels.

**Basic Qualifications (Subcontract Specialist):**

+ Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of Supply Chain/Business experience OR a master's degree with at least 0 year of Supply Chain/Business experience OR 6 years of Supply Chain/Business experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

+ Experience must be related to subcontracts management, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis, procurement, program management, advanced planning/MRP, and/or strategic sourcing.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement

+ Experience with management of subcontracts

+ Experience with SAP or S4

+ Experience in Negotiation of terms and conditions

Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
