Northrop Grumman's Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our inclusive team. As a **Principal Proposal Analyst** **- Level 3 (Principal)** , located in Dulles, VA you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one
**Space Systems Sector:**
Space Systems Sector designs, develops, manufactures, and integrates spacecraft systems, subsystems, sensors, payloads, and ground systems to deliver mission capability to national security, science and environmental, communications, on-orbit servicing, and human-rated space systems for Earth orbit and deep-space exploration missions.
Northrop Grumman Space Systems Business Development is seeking a full-time **Principal Proposal Analyst** to join our **Sector** **Proposal Operations** team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in **Dulles, VA** . The selected candidate must be able to work on-site and be willing and able to travel, as needed (up to 25%).
**In this job, you will:**
will apply proven proposal planning and execution strategies and processes to lead and support teams across the sector to develop successful, compliant, compelling, and on-time proposal submissions. The proposals you will work on include top Sector Priority Wins. Candidates for this position will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across effective team collaboration, communication, leadership, and proposal-based capabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Support the development of efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from U.S. Government customers
+ Lead and support collaborative, engaged teams to develop, review, and submit proposals that effectively represent our strategy and baseline while eliminating non-compliances and limiting weaknesses
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience (3 years with a Master’s degree)
+ Ability to understand and apply an established proposal process
+ Experience reviewing and understanding competitive U.S. Government customer RFPs and developing compliant and compelling proposal deliverables
+ Persistence and tenacity to meet deadlines in a challenging, deadline-driven, multi-tasking environment
+ Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
+ Team communication, collaboration, and leadership experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
+ Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with U.S. space systems-related customers and proposals
+ Experience in training and coaching others

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
