**Where You Will Work**

**What You Will Do**
+ Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff for assigned work unit.
+ Implement production plans according to approved schedule.
+ May participate in the full range of daily operational duties, performing the most difficult.
+ Inspect and evaluate work in progress, identifies any problem areas, and may direct remedial action.
+ Conduct performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
+ Prepare estimates of the staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for projected work activities.
+ Maintain an inventory of parts and materials.
+ Approve purchases of materials and equipment, maintain time, materials and equipment use reports.
+ Request tools, supplies, materials and equipment
+ Train staff in safety procedures
+ Maintain safety data sheets for crews.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**What You Bring To Freeport**
+ High School diploma or GED **and** five (5) years of related operational experience, **including** supervisory or lead experience; ** OR**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline **with** at least one (1) summer internship experience (or equivalent) working in a mining or industrial environment.
+ Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required.
+ Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
+ Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures needed to complete projects.
+ Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
+ Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
+ Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

**What We Offer You**
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$87,000-$121,000.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
