The Threat Modeling Center is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products in support of MDA and MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System. The Threat Modeling Center is looking for a Threat Modeling Quality Analyst Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. **This position is an on-site position and will be located at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. Relocation assistance is not available.**

Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures. Must be a motivated team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to ask questions and learn. Must be able to adapt to rapid changing project requirements and meet firm product schedule delivery dates. Must be able to understand and translate technical intelligence and engineering parameters into layman’s terms. Will also serve as the final quality control checkpoint for data integrated through the Threat Modeling Process.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

+ Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing Software and Materials of partially finished or finished products.

+ Collaborate with software engineering and systems engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

+ Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of software and completed systems.

+ Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, and mechanisms.

+ Conduct quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis of kinematic data created Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards

+ Assists in reporting metrics to the Agile process including monitoring and assisting with the Epics, and Sprints entry

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ **Level 1:** Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university

+ **Level II:** Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong organizational skills and self-motivation

+ Linux, Python or C++ Experience

+ A current DoD Secret security clearance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience in Agile development

+ Experience with avro/json files

**Salary Range:** $61,200 - $91,800

**Salary Range 2:** $73,900 - $110,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
