FCP Euro is seeking a Process Engineer to work within the supply chain vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities and inefficiencies within the supply chain, proposing and implementing solutions. They should possess strong supply chain expertise, intellectual curiosity, and data analysis skills to contribute within a defined strategic framework proactively.

This is an on-site role and you may choose to work either at Milford, CT or Mesa, AZ location. Hybrid options maybe available based on business requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

Drive a continuous improvement culture with DC Operations and Supply Chain:

+ Be an expert in supply chain process, understand the impact on DC operations, and provide insights on future improvements.

+ Employs continuous improvement methods, such as visual management, Kaizens, and value stream mapping

+ Continuously monitors and improves processes, and drives a culture of continuous improvement.

+ Provides single-threaded ownership for process improvement projects, resolves issues, ensures success, and drives safety. Defines equipment/parts, conducts cost/time estimation, and assists with documentation.

+ Clearly expresses ideas and concerns, actively seeks and shares information, and presents effectively in group settings.

Data Manipulation and Exploration: Analyze data with data visualization tools and analytical platforms. Data may include existing reports and data sources, or additional clean-up/synthesis as required. Effectively communicate the findings to recommend and implement change.

+ Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements.

+ Analyze trends, variances, tolerances, cycle time, etc of processes within the supply chain

+ Modeling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

+ Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.

Key Performance Indicators for Success (KPIs):

+ Improving gross margin by improving in-stock %, improving stock parity %, and reducing slow-moving inventory / high cost-to-serve SKUs

+ Reducing Cost per Order / Cost per Shipment through process improvements

+ Improve customer experience by improving on-time shipment and delivery, reduction in shipping errors/damages

Qualifications and Skills:

+ Experience in distribution/fulfillment, warehousing, and logistics preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quant field required

+ Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or Statistics preferred

+ Experience or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred but not required

+ Industry experience with Python, R, SQL, Matlab, SAS, or similar

+ Industry experience of building out business insight dashboards with Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar

+ Experience working with business teams to define and clean up data, provide data visualization, arrive at conclusions, and drive change

+ Experience with process/value stream mapping, root cause analysis, process control, or other lean/continuous improvement techniques

+ Willing and able to travel to all domestic sites

Compensation

This is an exempt role with a base salary of $70,000 - $ 90,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $74,600 to $95,900 annually.
