**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Java & Web Technologies opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.**

**Location:** Phoenix, AZ

**Duration:** 11 months

**Duties:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

+ Work with technologies like containers (Kubernetes) and caching systems to optimize performance.

+ Collaborate with the team to enhance and develop capabilities in the personalization domain.

+ Engage in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

+ Implement real-time machine learning solutions as needed.

+ Participate in full software development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment).

+ Ensure timely delivery of quality solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

+ Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

**Skills:**

+ Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

+ Experience with REST APIs and container technologies (Kubernetes).

+ Familiarity with caching systems.

+ Knowledge of Big Data and Real-Time Machine Learning applications is a plus.

+ Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Good understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum 6+ years of experience in Java development.

+ Proven experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, containers (Kubernetes), and caching technologies.

+ Experience with Big Data and Real-Time Machine Learning (preferred).

+ Previous involvement in designing and optimizing solutions for personalization domains.

+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
