Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will focus on managing accounts payable, contributing to monthly financial reporting, and working collaboratively with the finance team to ensure accuracy in all financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete accounts payable process, from invoice handling to payment generation, ensuring all actions comply with established procedures and policies.

• Actively involve in the creation of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring accurate recording of all accounts, transactions, and financial activities.

• Work closely with the finance team to guarantee all financial transactions are precise and support the organization's financial objectives and budget.

• Maintain and update comprehensive records of all financial activities.

• Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP to manage financial data efficiently.

• Handle general ledger tasks and perform bank reconciliations.

• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring prompt and accurate payment.

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process. Requirements

• BS in Accounting (or related) is a huge plus

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Ability to perform accurate Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations and management

• Experience with Journal Entries preparation and posting

• Knowledge and experience in Month End Close procedures
