The candidate will be a System Engineer that has had a variety of system engineering assignments requiring use and application of advanced engineering methods and tools. Demonstrated experience or ability to learn System Level integration of Navigation systems and associated products required. Robust and demonstrated Project and Systems Engineering skills are desired. The programs will have aggressive schedules and tight but adequate budgets to be managed. In addition, active risk and opportunity management are desired.
This individual will contribute to and/or lead projects in various stages of development, working with teams of engineers and interfacing with customers and production. The candidate should have participated in developing written communications suitable for customer submission (i.e., white papers, conference papers, review presentations, etc.) The Systems Engineer will be a major contributor to technical proposals and other documents and will need to have a working knowledge of navigation systems as applied to our products.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Technical and project leadership to Inertial Guidance and Navigation Systems within the ES organization.
+ Requirement generation, test, and analysis of inertial sensors (gyros and accelerometers) in inertial navigation and GPS systems
+ Meeting technical, schedule and cost requirements for the assigned projects
+ Interfacing with both commercial and military customers in technical program definition and execution
+ Experience interacting with customers, suppliers and inter-divisional peers on routine matters
+ Act as a mentor to lower-level engineers
Travel, up to 25% of the time, may be expected.

You Must Have:
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering or mathematics
+ 6+ years of experience related to requirements management and integration of HW & SW components
+ Ability to write, speak and read English

+ Experience with Matlab
+ Experience in requirements testing (Test cases/Test procedure development) is highly desirable
+ 6-Sigma certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire
+ Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) and/or Global Positioning System (GPS) experience a plus
+ Must be able to function as an individual contributor and as part of a team
