Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for an experienced full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team atGrand Canyon National ParkinGrand Canyon, Arizona.If you are skilled at performing routine work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment, this could be your best bet on your career. **What will you do?**

+ Efficiently complete assigned maintenance requests in basic carpentry, painting duties and multiple call outs.

+ Requires journeyman level experience in concrete, stone and mason work.

+ Assist in maintaining water softeners, and salt inventory per preventive maintenance schedule.

+ Ability to perform level one trade functions such as electrical motor trouble shooting to 220 volts, plumbing, refrigeration/HVAC, basic boiler operation, kitchen equipment repair, and second level maintenance repairs.

+ Must possess valid drivers license and ability to operate company vehicle.

+ Operate designated heavy equipment and adhere to all safety requirements.

+ Other duties as assigned.

**More about you**

+ Minimum five years experience in general building maintenance, or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing, etc., including skills in concrete tile and welding.

+ Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance and trades.

+ Drivers license required with ability to safely operate a company vehicle in inclement weather.

+ Requires time management skills combined with efficient work ethic to complete tasks as required.

**Physical requirements**

+ Wear all required personal protective equipment needed to carry out assigned tasks safely.

+ Ability to enter into and work in confined and crawlspaces.

+ Will climb and descend ladders repeatedly while supporting tools and equipment.

+ Walking, bending, squatting, reaching, pulling with ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

+ Manual dexterity in the use of hands to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools and equipment.

+ Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, sun, wind, rain and snow.
