**Responsibilities**

**NURSING ASSISTANT - TELEMETRY**

Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center

Under direct supervision of the licensed nurse the Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care in accordance with individual needs Hospital policy and standards of patient care.

Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent. Minimum (1) year experience as a Nursing Assistant required. Acute care facility experience preferred. Formal Nursing Assistant training preferred. Current CA CNA certification preferred. Current AHA BLS card required. LA Fire Card required within 90 days of hire.

This position is represented by SEIU UHW and covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

**Qualifications**

+ At least one (1) year experience as a Nursing Assistant required.

+ Acute care facility experience preferred.

+ Formal Nursing Assistant training preferred.

+ Current California Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

+ Current AHA BLS card required. LA Fire Card required within 90 days of hire.

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $27.01 /hour
