**Main Responsibilities:**

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers

• Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner

• Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc.

• Keeping your work area clean and safe

• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics

**Qualifications:**

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred

• Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred)

• Experienced using all tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools)

• Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred

**The Role**

Lumen has multiple openings for an Operations Technician III to join our National Metro Network Operations Center team. The Metro NOC provides support and trouble resolution on the Lumen National Metro network. The Operations Technician III will be responsible for monitoring the Metro networks for trouble events using multiple network monitoring tools, responding to client trouble reports via email and phone, and creating trouble tickets and dispatch tickets to resolve or escalate trouble tickets.

This position will work closely with other Lumen organizations toward the resolution of service impacting network events and will have a direct impact on the resolution of complex trouble situations. **Location**

+ This is an onsite role with multiple openings and is open to candidates based in Denver, CO; Ashburn, VA; Tempe, AZ; or Monroe, LA. Shifts for this team are on a 24/7 schedule and candidates must have the ability to work any shift in a 7x24x365 environment.

+ Shifts for these positions are to be determined but each will be assigned a set schedule of days between Monday to Sunday, either working day shifts (6:00 AM-4:00 PM), swing shifts (12:00 PM-10:00 PM), or mid shifts (9:00 PM-7:00 AM).

**The Main Responsibilities**

+ Conduct complex network monitoring of internal network circuits and network performance.

+ Troubleshoot high level physical layer issues on circuits.

+ Create trouble ticket which summarizes reported trouble, managing and correlating multiple trouble reports and documenting all activities per defined procedures.

+ Answer inbound calls and/or redirect calls to proper Lumen organization if required, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

+ Initiate internal escalations and provide follow-up.

+ Act as mentor to peers and lead training efforts for less experienced teammates.

+ Demonstrate proficiency with trouble ticketing applications as well as network monitoring tools and other internal platforms.

+ Maintain knowledge of troubleshooting circuit degradation issues, including utilization, bandwidth and latency problems.

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

**Required**

+ 5+ years of technical customer call center experience.

+ Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Networking or related technical or vocational education or equivalent work experience.

+ Experience with Cisco IOS and IOS-XR.

+ Experience with Alcatel, Juniper, and/or Overture routers and switches to include command line interface.

+ Strong understanding of the OSI Networking model, especially physical, data link, and network layers.

+ Experience working on complex IP issues.

+ Understanding of Linux/Unix as a user with troubleshooting and testing experience.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks at once, including ticket administration, communications, and follow-up activities.

**Preferred**

+ Cisco, Alcatel, Juniper or comparable certifications.

About the maintenance technician position at Palm Crest at Station 40:

We’re looking for a talented maintenance technician who will be responsible for addressing an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager, and for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.

+ Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines.

+ Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.

+ Perform various proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, golf-cart, elevator and more.

POSITION SUMMARY

3. Works with all other divisions and departments to meet the facility maintenance, installation and construction needs, as assigned. Recommends use of outside maintenance specialty contractors as appropriate. Oversees and monitors outside maintenance specialty contractors to assure compliance with established hospital standards.

4. Monitors maintenance repair work, alterations and renovation upgrades to the facility, as assigned. Works with construction installation activities and processes to ensure the integrity of established facility standards, as requested.

5. Maintains maintenance components, materials and supplies at an appropriate level within budgetary constraints. Provides building maintenance input and feedback to the designated manager.

6. Maintains records for facility compliance with all applicable authorities having jurisdiction including, local, state, federal and all other regulatory codes pertaining to any and all components of the facility maintenance systems. As required, attends annual code compliance and update training.

7. Incumbents in this position may work independently under general supervision to fulfill responsibilities using specialized skills and knowledge. This position interacts with a wide variety of individuals including staff, co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, regulatory agencies, surveyors, inspectors, contractors, and vendors. This position is facility based and has no budgetary responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED OR Equivalent and working knowledge of small project managing skills.

Facilities or departments, depending on business need, may require proof of a valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.

Requires two or more years of diversified work experience as a maintenance technician with demonstrated maintenance or related skills.

Must be able to exercise independent decision making and judgment in the performance of all duties. Requires the ability to work safely and effectively with maintenance equipment.
