POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Plant Manager and/ or Maintenance Manager, provide maintenance support and troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical equipment ensuring the plant operates at the highest level of uptime and efficiency. Perform all maintenance functions within company defined Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and sustain a clean and organized maintenance department
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
+ Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements as it relates to the duties of maintenance operations
+ Complete all required OSHA or corporate training courses as defined by management before conducting tasks
+ Wear proper PPE as required for the task at hand
+ Under the direction of the Plant Manager and/ or Maintenance Manager, perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities
+ Install, troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, filler lines, plant equipment or other devices required to maintain production uptime
+ Typical equipment includes, but not limited to: 1) process pumps, motors and mixing equipment, 2) pneumatic components, vacuum pumps and electrical control systems, 3) hydraulic components and control systems, 4) power transmission systems (gearboxes, chains, drives, etc), 4) piping, valves, filters and fittings 5) field instrumentation and controls, 6) PLC/DCS and VFD’s 7)Dust collection and conveyance systems 8) Compressed air systems, generators and all associated equipment
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide supervisor or management a repair solution including parts list and timeline
+ Perform electrical tasks such as wring motors, VFD’s control panels or other low and high voltage equipment (480VAC 3PH)
+ Maintain maintenance shop/areas in a clean, organized, professional condition, following all safety requirements for hazardous materials
+ Keep all tools, power equipment, and other tools of the trade in a clean and safe working condition
+ Ensure all documentation for LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work and other related safety documents are completed before performing any work
+ Maintain effective and positive communication with production staff
+ Keep supervisors and management aware of pending issues and status of installation or repair
+ Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks on key plant equipment and ensure completion of those tasks
+ Strive to meet safety targets or objectives set by the supervisor or management
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Operate Forklift, Man Lift, Scissor Lift, or other similar equipment
+ Order parts, check paperwork on receipt of parts
+ Attend safety meetings, conduct safety audits
+ Safely perform all other duties as required by supervisor on an as needed basis
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
+ Must have 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision
+ A minimum of 5 years performing mechanical and electrical maintenance duties in a manufacturing or similar environment
+ Experienced background troubleshooting/installing/repairing air pumps, PD Pumps, pneumatic valves, gearboxes and motors
+ Ability to install and wire 100 hp electric motors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, VFD’s
+ Exhibit a strong problem-solving aptitude when it comes to mechanical and electrical equipment
+ Employee must be able to safely lift in excess of 70 pounds multiple times without difficulty
+ Employee must have full range of motion and able to work in awkward positions
+ Must be able to work at heights in excess of 40 feet without concern
+ Must be able to interact with all levels of plant personnel in a positive and productive way

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing basic building maintenance preventative and corrective work to the facility. 3. Works with all other divisions and departments to meet the facility maintenance, installation and construction needs, as assigned. Recommends use of outside maintenance specialty contractors as appropriate. Oversees and monitors outside maintenance specialty contractors to assure compliance with established hospital standards.
4. Monitors maintenance repair work, alterations and renovation upgrades to the facility, as assigned. Works with construction installation activities and processes to ensure the integrity of established facility standards, as requested.
5. Maintains maintenance components, materials and supplies at an appropriate level within budgetary constraints. Provides building maintenance input and feedback to the designated manager.
6. Maintains records for facility compliance with all applicable authorities having jurisdiction including, local, state, federal and all other regulatory codes pertaining to any and all components of the facility maintenance systems. As required, attends annual code compliance and update training.
7. Incumbents in this position may work independently under general supervision to fulfill responsibilities using specialized skills and knowledge. This position interacts with a wide variety of individuals including staff, co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, regulatory agencies, surveyors, inspectors, contractors, and vendors. This position is facility based and has no budgetary responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED OR Equivalent and working knowledge of small project managing skills.
Facilities or departments, depending on business need, may require proof of a valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
Requires two or more years of diversified work experience as a maintenance technician with demonstrated maintenance or related skills.
Must be able to exercise independent decision making and judgment in the performance of all duties. Requires the ability to work safely and effectively with maintenance equipment. Must be proficient in reading and understanding related and required maintenance and construction documents. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Requires working knowledge and certification as required of applicable regulatory codes, and State and local building codes. About the maintenance technician position:
We’re looking for a talented maintenance technician who will be responsible for addressing an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager, and for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.
+ Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines.
+ Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.

Job Summary:

Facility Maintenance Technician Primary Responsibilities:
+ Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.

Manufacturing Technicians operate complex equipment and analytical tools, processes, state of the art 300mm silicon wafers in a clean room environment, which requires appropriate gowning. Technicians are gowned in a gore suit that covers them from head to toe as they perform their work duties. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving. Primary job duties are to perform routine operations supporting wafer fabrication in a specific functional area. Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications. Technicians work 12-hour shifts and spend most of their time standing to perform the work. Some, if not all, tasks performed require repetitive motion to an extent.
