    Starting Pay Range: $15/hr
    At 3 Months: $15.25/hr
    At 6 Months: $15.50/hr
    At 9 Months: $15.75/hr
    At 12 Months: $16/hr
    In your first year, you can progress from $15hr to $16hr through our performance-based Careers Not Jobs program, which provides four merit opportunities annually. As part of this program, eligible team members can enjoy an additional $0.25 increase in their pay every 90 days.

    We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players to:

    Ensure each vehicle is inspected for mechanical, drivability or cosmetic concerns
    Wash and vacuum all inventory on a regular basis
    Complete multi-point inspection on arriving inventory to include fuel level, safety features, drivability test and proper display of all company and state disclosures
    Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors
    Interact and communicate with team members and management across all lines of the business.
    Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
    General qualifications and requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable
    Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
    Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past 3 years
    Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
    Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
    Requires standing for an extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.

    Role and Team

    This role supports the ADESA businesses and customers by inspecting vehicles for condition, wear, tear, neglect, missing parts, mechanical issues, previous repairs, and damage/structural damage. Complete required vehicle inspection promptly and accurately including imaging and uploading results of the vehicle condition. Interact with dealers and consumers as needed professionally as the face of ADESA and its collective businesses.

    Responsibilities

    Communicate in a professional manner with customers (dealer or consumer)
    Resolve any customer inquiries in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner; advise management of all complaints or incidents
    Ensure internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient, and courteous attention
    Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, mechanical and structural damage.
    Complete inspection of vehicles and ensure adherence to the defined program for the customer.
    Capture data accurately on a mobile device, and work comfortably with software and technology.
    Deliver results in a timely manner
    Maintain productivity levels as set forth by management.
    Deliver consistent, accurate inspections with a minimal rate of errors in accordance with reasonable expectations set forth by management.
    Collaborate with management and sales team members on customer needs with insights to improve services provided
    Maintain equipment and tools properly and advise the manager of any equipment maintenance or breakdown needed
    Ensure vehicles are in clean condition with radios, seats, mirrors, and other convenience items in the same position as when the vehicle arrives
    Submit completed condition reports using the appropriate technology made available to you to complete the vehicle inspection
    Complete road test if required by contract or inspection type
    Keep current on technology updates, new releases, and product development
    Understand the functionality and ability to use tools such as paint meter, OBD scanner, etc.
    Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise in areas of competitor products

    Position Summary:
    Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of ready-mix concrete trucks. This position will work the 2nd shift with a start time of 2:00pm. Will work Monday-Friday and alternating Saturdays.

    Position Responsibilities:

    * Ability to diagnose engine systems and perform diesel and gasoline engine repairs, including minor tune-ups.
    * Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot and perform hydraulic system repairs.
    * Must have complete knowledge of truck air brake systems with the ability to diagnose and repair problems. Must have knowledge of laws and regulations regarding braking systems.
    * Ability to diagnose and repair suspension and steering systems.
    * Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
    * Diagnose and repair specialized components and controls on mixers and material trucks.
    * Ability to diagnose and make repairs in regards to welding and cutting.
    * Ability to perform road calls in a safe, fast, and professional manner when necessary
    * Will assist other mechanics with troubleshooting and repairs when problems arise.
    * Must have knowledge of both OSHA and MSHA regulations and safety orders, including safety precautions on raised truck beds, brakes, mixer lockouts, etc.
    * Will maintain good housekeeping with the ability to keep company records and complete work orders on equipment.
    * Will perform other duties and assignments as required.

    Position Requirements:


    * Prefer high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    * At least 5 years of verifiable experience repairing ready mix trucks highly desired
    * Commercial driver's license (Class A or B) highly preferred
    * Must have a clean DMV (no more than 1 point on record, no suspensions, failures to appear, etc.)
    * Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
    * Prior construction experience preferred
    * Must be able to write legibly to complete work orders and other required paperwork
    * Must be able to read and comprehend maintenance manuals
    * Must have hand and air tools required to repair heavy duty trucks. Bottom box with the ability to roll to work station required

    - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.

    - Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds fleet equipment components.

    - Inform management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions, and unsafe work practices, and suggest corrective actions.

    - Identify and inform management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment, and take steps to solve the issue if possible.

    - Complete complex work orders with proper coding (Reason for Repair (RFR), American Trucking Association (ATA)), description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing warranty return tags as needed.
