WSP USA is actively seeking an **Assistant Vice President; Civil Project Manager** with strong experience in transportation infrastructure projects for our **Tucson, AZ** location. This role provides situational guidance to PMs and managers that address current and future challenges, and that documentation and recommendations accurately account for and address risk, innovation, and future-ready opportunities. Provides leadership with ensuring that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.

Your Impact

+ Ensure that production of specifications, reports and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements and are commensurate with professional standards, client requirements and corporate objectives.

+ Provide coordination with other design disciplines and remote office locations, including: Planning, Environmental, Roadway, Structures, Hydraulics/Drainage and Traffic.

+ Collaborate with management to determine long-range plans and objectives, including recommendations on project staffing, evaluating and mentoring of subordinate staff.

+ Planning, scheduling, and coordinating staffing levels needed for projects.

+ Manage projects and maintain schedule, budget, and profitability of assigned projects, overseeing preparation of plans, specifications, proposals and RFC packages.

+ Complete ad hoc projects as needs arise.

+ Provide input on alternative delivery proposal preparation.

+ Lead projects with all aspects of Transportation Design from conceptual and preliminary engineering to final design.

+ Ensure that production of specifications, reports and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.

+ Provide Training to Staff-level Engineers.

+ Coordinating with internal and external clients.

+ Support effective long-term client/contractor relationships.

+ Represent WSP's alternative delivery capabilities in assigned locations, markets, and at industry associations as appropriate.

+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline.

+ 10+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering and civil design.

+ Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).

+ Highly proficient with civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.

+ Significant experience working with DOT projects and clients

+ Demonstrated creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgment, and successfully managing multiple projects and task assignments, relying upon experience in design quality control programs.

+ Strong knowledge of relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

+ Highly proficient with making technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons to the appropriate regulations.

+ Experience with planning and conducting inspections and investigations on various aspects of the construction and design of facilities or structures, applying applicable regulations and policies.

+ Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing intricate ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.

+ Strong self-leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with clients, regulators, project managers, and employees at all levels of the organization.

+ Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, discipline-specific design software (i.e., MicroStation, OpenRoads, InRoads, Geopak, HCS).

+ Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and plans with a high degree of complexity.

+ Demonstrated experience with State and local governments, contractors, transportation agencies, etc.

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

+ Must be flexible to a variety of schedules to meet business needs and able to prioritize responsibilities and quickly adapt to change in a pressure work environment.

+ Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with Arizona Department of Transportations; Utah, Colorado and/or New Mexico DOTs is a plus.

+ Experience with local Arizona municipal or county projects.

+ Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and discipline-specific deliverables, certifications, processes, and plans in a multi-project environment is highly desirable.

**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer that will perform deep inspection of monolithic applications within the Consumer Banking space. The principal engineer must be able to perform gap analysis of the application and also implement alerting, alarming observability. The principal engineer will adopt an SRE organization through Observability, Automation and Cloud Engineering for Branch. The principal engineer must have strong communication skills and the ability to mentor, provide expert advice and upskill the platform engineers. The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. **Your Impact**

+ Provide engineering services in support of planning, studies, analysis, and design of water distribution systems, as well as wastewater collection systems, which includes pump/lift stations, wells, chemical feed systems, and storage reservoirs

+ Primary focus for project work will be the development of engineering studies, design reports, construction documents, and construction oversight/administration related to water/wastewater infrastructure in the municipal and industrial markets.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area

+ Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks

+ Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

+ Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution

+ Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards

+ Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Experience with highly regulated Financial Technology environments

+ Strong experience with Unix/Linux systems administration (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, AIX)

+ Shell scripting proficiency (Bash, KSH, etc.)

+ File system and storage management (LVM, NFS, SAN/NAS integration)

+ Knowledge of user and access management (LDAP, sudo, PAM)

+ Patch Management and system updates

+ Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall configurations)

+ Ability to manage high-availability systems and clustering

+ Ansible Playbook development/execution

+ Ticketing system experience (Queue/Ticket Management, Reporting, Dashboarding) in ServiceNow and Jira

+ PowerBI Dashboard creation

+ Strong documentation and communication skills

+ Collaboration with cross-function teams (network, storage, app teams)

+ Superior customer service skills

**Pay Range**

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$35.14 - $62.45
