    Position Summary:

    The External Relations Department is recruiting for Peer Mentors to work in Social Media, Community Outreach & Engagement. The Peer Mentor's role is a part-time position to support in the delivery of the strategic vision of the College and help maximize recruitment and engagement across various digital platforms. The position requires creativity, flexibility, initiative, and drive. The Peer Mentors need to be approachable, efficient, enthusiastic and hard-working. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Social Media Peer Mentors may be required to travel to more than one campus for work assignments when needed. Peer Mentors will also support project programming college-wide as needed. In addition, the Social Media Peer Mentors will need the confidence to create trending and engaging content in a wide range of different environments across the College on a day-to-to day basis.     POSITION SUMMARY

    The WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor is an amazing role that helps to assists mothers who wish to breastfeed and succeed with their breastfeeding goals, with the goal of breastfeeding individualized for each client to succeed.     ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    + High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

    + Experience with breastfeeding. Must have had success in breastfeeding at least one baby for a least 6 months (does not have to be currently breastfeeding)

    + Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)

    + Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations

    + Must have reliable transportation
